"I moved into Mars Hill Manor December 2019. My health and over-all well being has improved since moving here. In the health area there is a significant effort to manage our health in affiliation with Mars Hill Medical Center and any needed specialist. The medications are administered very effectively by the CNA’s and coordinated with Blue Ridge Pharmacy. The CNA’s are very much resident oriented. They observe the day- to- day health condition of the residents. Also, the transportation to doctors is handled very effectively. The dining room is very nice. There is wide selection of food each day. The menu is varied each day. The handling of all business affairs like filing for long term insurance are handled on a very timely basis. The activities are provided for what ever a person might want to do. For me personally I have been able keep up ministering going by providing the other residents with a Sunday Church service. In summary my overall rating is A+." Hugh E.
"After going blind in 2020 I knew I could not live alone. I moved to MHM and it has been a blessing. The staff accommodates my needs by reading information, escorting me as needed, and monitoring my meds. The dining staff goes the extra mile by cutting up my foods and prompting me as to where things are on my plate at mealtimes. I am blooming here and being on a first-name basis makes me feel included and safe." Sandy B.

My mom spent two years here, and I have so much gratitude for how much thought they put into creating a homey, comfortable environment with a nice mix of activities. They kept everyone safe during Covid and went out of their way to keep families in contact with their loved ones as much as possible.
